VAT Exemption:
The company is exempt from VAT under § 19 UStG (small business regulation in Germany). All displayed prices are final prices, with no VAT shown separately.

2. Use of the Website

  • The use of the website implies acceptance of these Terms.

  • The user undertakes to provide true and complete information.

  • Any misuse of the site is prohibited, including attempts to modify code, carry out attacks, or exploit vulnerabilities.

3. Products and Prices

  • All products are presented with a description, images, and final price (excluding VAT).

  • Hot & Tasty by Brito reserves the right to correct pricing or information errors without prior notice.

  • Prices do not include shipping costs, which are added before checkout is completed.

4. Payment

  • Available methods: Card, MB WAY, Multibanco, PayPal, Bank Transfer

  • Transactions are processed by secure partners with data encryption.

  • Proof of payment or identity may be requested in case of suspected fraud.

5. Deliveries

  • Shipping Countries: Portugal, Germany, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Denmark

  • Shipping costs are €3.50 for deliveries in Portugal and €5.50 for the remaining available countries: Germany, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Denmark.

  • Free shipping on orders over €70.

  • Delivery times range from 2 to 7 working days.

  • The company is not responsible for delays caused by third parties (couriers, strikes, etc.).

  • The risk is transferred to the customer at the time of delivery.

6. Sale of Alcoholic Beverages

  • Products containing alcohol (such as artisanal liqueurs) may only be purchased by persons aged 18 or over.

  • By placing an order, the customer declares that they meet the legal age requirement in the country of delivery.

  • During checkout, the customer must confirm that they are of legal age.

  • The company reserves the right to cancel orders or request proof of age when necessary.

7. Right of Withdrawal

  • The customer has the right to return the order within 14 days, without the need to provide a reason.

  • The return request must be made by email or through the contact form on the website.

Conditions for return:

  • Products must be unopened, intact, and in the original packaging.

  • Sent to the address provided by the company.

  • Return costs are borne by the customer (except in case of error or defect).

Attention:
Products containing alcohol will only be accepted if they are sealed and show no signs of use.

8. Warranty and Complaints

  • EU consumer legal rights apply.

  • In case of a defect, the company undertakes to repair, replace, or refund.

  • Complaints can also be submitted via the Electronic Complaints Book.

9. Alternative Dispute Resolution

Consumers may use the official European Commission platform for online dispute resolution:

This platform allows disputes related to online purchases to be resolved without the need to go to court.

10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

  • For consumers: the legislation of the customer’s country (Portugal, Germany, etc.) applies.

  • For businesses (B2B): German law applies and the place of jurisdiction is Hamburg.
